Parenting with Pride
Support Group for the Parents of Trans/ Nonbinary Youth: Wednesdays at 7pm Sessions conducted via Zoom $10 a week; Accommodations available for the those in need. The UT Psychological Clinic is the training clinic for Department of Psychology's applied doctoral programs. Together Estranged started with a single person who wanted to make a positive difference in her community. Her name is Seth, and at the age of 13, Seth Forbes found herself becoming estranged from part of her family. Eight years later she was ostracized by the remaining members of her family when she came out as LGBTQ+. She is now happily married to her partner Dru, who is transgender, and both serve as active allies to the LGBTQ+ community. Together Estranged supports and empowers those estranged (or becoming estranged) from family members, while enhancing social understanding for the de-stigmatization of estrangement.
