Bookwalter United Methodist Holds Suicide Prevention Day

I haven't had that experience in many years but that is because I know where to go to find acceptance and support. Club Q Vigil at Union Grove United Methodist Church

Local LGBTQ organizations have planned a candlelight vigil in remembrance of the LGBTQ Club Q Colorado Springs Shooting Victims. Hate Crimes Resources for Knoxville TN

I recently set in on a Community Partners Conference Call with the FBI, Department of Justice and local law enforcement for Colorado Springs related to the Club Q LGBTQ nightclub shooting on Nov 20, 2022. I collected information on Hate Crimes, what they are, and how to report them. My sympathies to all individuals that have experienced Hate Crimes or any form of violence. ~Beau Knowles

Some of my members have been discussing this, they are uncomfortable going to large religious denominations where they may not be accepted. Salon Offers Rainbow Package for Transgender & LGBTQ Community Sevierville TN

Wanderlust Salon and Spa in Sevierville noticed a need for a safe space for intimate services such as waxing for Transgender individuals and the LGBTQ+ community. Owner Jessi Seaton decided to fill that need with a service package titled "The Rainbow Package".

Knox Pride Festival 2022 First In Person event since 2020

Knox Pride announced it's first in person event since 2020. Knox Pride Festival will be held in the fall of 2022. The festival is a 3 day event which is the first of its kind for our area. Knox Pride President John Camp stated, "we are still a FREE festival".

Planned Parenthood Still Offers Services after Fire

Planned Parenthood announced on their social media that the Knoxville clinic has burned New Year's Eve morning, however, patients will continue to receive services such as gender affirming hormone therapy or birth control refills. to learn how to access services or to donate to the organization.

South Side Pride Festival Seeks New Organizer After Success of event in 2021
